Bio

Jeromy was born and raised in Northwest Indiana. He graduated from Lewis University, a small liberal arts university south of Chicago, as a Distinguished Scholar with a B.S. in Chemical Physics in 2016. During his time at Lewis, Jeromy spent nearly four years in Dr. Jason Keleher’s lab, where he worked primarily on the design of photocatalytic polymeric nanocomposites for enhanced water filtration. One of the key concepts which drew him towards chemistry was the ability to take research and use it to help solve real world problems. With this in mind, Jeromy came to UNC-Chapel Hill to pursue his PhD in Polymer/Materials in Dr. Wei You's lab.

Research Interests

Jeromy's research interests include the design and synthesis of organic photovoltaics and electronic materials for application in both new materials and renewable energy projects
